Glenn is one of the old originals, starring as Rick's main accomplice during the first few episodes. He is clearly smart in avoiding the walkers, though he isn't a raw fighter, though throughout the series he has grown into a massively important member of the team. He's a matured man, rather than the cap-wearing boy we first met, and his path follows similar footsteps to the comic books. He will never claim to be the ultimate warrior in the group, but he's a more than valued member, and would do anything for Maggie.
