7. Surgery...With A Credit Card
A new synthetic heroin strain arrives in New York City in episode five, causing Danny and Colleen (Jessica Henwick) to attempt to track down the source.
They eventually come across genius chemist Radovan, who has been coerced into creating the compound after The Hand kidnapped his daughter.
However, Radovan is gravely wounded when Danny attempts to retrieve him, and rather than risk going to the hospital, he calls Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) to help fix him up.
This leads to a gnarly sequence where Claire performs back-alley surgery on Radovan, using Danny's credit card to form a chest seal to stem Radovan's blood loss and allow his lungs to work properly.
After Danny lauds her for her quick thinking, she retorts, "Hope you don't want your card back." As a testament to the benefits of taking Marvel to Netflix, free from the content restrictions of network TV, this scene was a grisly, darkly funny delight.
