Late in the season, Colleen mentions that she was trained by her grandfather in the art of Bushido before she was taken under the wing of Bakuto, and though his name is never outright stated, this is clearly a reference to Colleen's comic book grandpa, Kenji Ozawa.

In both the comics and the show, Colleen's mother died when she was young and she was sent to live with her grandpa in Japan, where her life-long training kicked off.

With the end of the season raising some intriguing mysteries surrounding Colleen's past, could we see some flashbacks to a young Colleen being trained by Kenji in season three? One can hope.
