6. The Pirate Queen Of Pinghai Bay

Furthering the mystery behind Colleen's past is the finale's revelation that a story she was told by her mother as a child, The Pirate Queen of Pinghai Bay, is also one that Danny himself was taught in K'un-Lun.

Danny further reveals that the story isn't merely a story, and the titular Pirate Queen is in fact Wu Ao-Shi, the first woman to ever defeat the K'un-Lun's mythic dragon Shou-Lao.

First things first: Wu Ao-Shi is indeed a major fixture in the Iron Fist comics. However, the show's implication that she may be one of Colleen Wing's ancestors is a completely original development.

Considering how awesome it was to see Colleen imbued with the Heart of the Dragon, though, it's a revision that has a ton of potential next season.
