It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: 10 Times Dennis Reynolds Embraced His Inner Sociopath

5. The D.E.N.N.I.S System

Love is a complicated emotion that is hard to define. Maybe that's because there is no exact definition of what love is, just a gut feeling that you can't quite put your finger on. Dennis however, can put more than his finger on it, and goes so far as to create a scientific formula that results in his romantic endeavours falling in love with him, before seamlessly separating from them entirely and moving on to the next.

The DENNIS system, is a carefully considered process that Dennis has developed which sees him manipulating unsuspecting women, sleeping with them, and then severing all ties with them completely. This emotional abuse, in Dennis's eyes, results in the poor women being hopelessly in love with him, and hateful voicemail messages are music to his ears. The mark of a true conceited individual.

The system actually seems to work for Dennis, until Mac and Frank try to concoct their own, poorly devised plans which end up interfering with the delicate ecosystem the trio seems to have created. Frank, going by Doctor Mantis Toboggan, eventually exposes Dennis to his most recent endeavour and in the process, saves the poor woman from a lot of grief.

One thing is for sure though, the DENNIS system, definitely has a catchy, if not narcissistic ring to it.
