In this season's most recent episode, A Tale of Two Cities Don has a vision of himself floating at the top of a pool. It is hard not to see the shot as a direct reference to the one that opened Sunset Boulevard. This is intriguing for a number of reasons, most importantly because the body in the pool belongs to the film's narrator and he is already dead. Which brings us to the opening shot of season 6...
