7. Iron Fist

Oh, Iron Fist. After the travesty that was his recent solo series, fans were hoping that The Defenders would turn the character around. As it is, there is some improvement, but not as much as you'd like.

In fact, it's surprising how much Danny Rand is presented as a liability and a bit of an idiot. The Hand's evil plan literally revolves around him and he is reduced to the role of damsel-in-distress for the last two episodes.

Still, when surrounded by his fellow heroes, Danny's naivety and lack of experience provides a nice contrast with his more experienced, cynical colleagues. The end of the series also promises that the character will be closer to the classic Iron Fist next time we see him.
