It's not Netflix's best animated series, but F Is For Family is one that's well-suited to being watched in large doses, thanks to its short episodes, even shorter first season (just six instalments), and familiar family sitcom trappings.
On the surface the show offers up the similar sort of brash comedy Bill Burr has become known for, and it definitely has those elements - which sometimes work, sometimes don't - of vulgarity and profanity.

Thankfully, though, it does go a little deeper than that, offering a worldview with a fair (and surprising) amount of nuance and poignancy.
