As mentioned, Jessica's best friend Patsy Walker will play a part in the show. Played by Rachael Taylor, she looks to be the civilian voice of reason to Jessica's dark avenging angel. It's unclear how much of the character's story will line up with her comic alter-ego. This trailer expands on the scene we caught a glimpse of in the first, in which Walker attempts to shoot herself while under Kilgrave's influence. The ability to control someone so close to Jones will only increase the Purple Man's powers in terrifying ways.
