One of the brand new, not-seen-in-the-comics characters in Jessica Jones is Malcolm, played by Eka Darville. Not a lot is known about him just yet apart from the fact that he'll be Jessica's neighbour and also an addict who is struggling to keep his drug use under control. We first see him in the trailer as Jones says, in voiceover, "no one else will die because of me", which...well, foreshadowing-wise, it doesn't sound great for poor Malcolm. From the looks of his injuries in the shot above, he's due to get caught in Jones' crossfire sooner rather than later.
