17. The Super Friends Series
One of the more iconic animated shows to feature characters from the Justice League, The Super Friends (and all subsequent series to feature the group), is also the longest running DC cartoon in existence, lasting a staggering thirteen years until it was finally cancelled in 1986.
It's just good fun, really, and features Aquaman riding his now infamous pink seahorse into battle on more than one occasion.
Perhaps the coolest thing about the show, however, is that it was renamed in its final season and subsequently titled 'The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians'. One would struggle to guess what a Super Powers Team is, or indeed what a Galactic Guardian looks like, in this day and age. What we do know, however, is that they sound awesome.
