5. Campfire

Catherine Tate narrates with an almost wistful quality as we are treated to a story around the campfire about one man “burning through time, facing a thousand dangers across the stars”.

Through this, we are teased with shots of the Daleks, Cyberman, Ood and Sontarans before it all culminates in the Doctor and Donna Noble whispering “we'll be gone”. Although slightly reminiscent of a high class aftershave or perfume advert, the stunning visuals in flames coupled with Donna Noble's story give this trailer the added oomph it needs.
