Not many things are set in stone as far as the ever evolving Doctor Who mythology is concerned but fans can always be assured that each series finale will be bigger, better, badder and even more headache inducing than the last, especially when Steven Moffat is involved. Amen to that! Over the last decade of NuWho festivities, each series climax has pushed the boundaries of Saturday teatime drama to tie off all the loose ends of the preceding episodes whilst throwing a couple of almighty spanners into the works along the way. It all began with an almighty Dalek showdown back in Series 1 and last year Peter Capaldi's debut string of adventures as the Twelfth Doctor went out with an almighty bang when Michelle Gomez was revealed as the first female incarnation of the Master. Let's not forget the Dalek vs. Cybermen battle, the return of Davros, the end of reality itself and everything else in between! In short, the revived series of Doctor Who still has the power to shock us, even after 10 years, but which of the finales has been the best and most climactic to date?
