As the Terran Empire was beginning to wane in the decade that followed, the uniform was redesigned, more closely resembling the Starfleet contemporary.

By the 2380s, the Terran Empire was struggling to make a comeback. Their uniforms resembled active wear, presumably to allow their soldiers to fight with more freedom.

In the darker timeline created by an aging Q, General Picard was seen in a uniform that resembled a mix between the Starfleet monster maroon and the Terran uniform of the 2250s, still retaining a version of the Delta on the left breast.
