10. The Story Of John And Mary Winchester

This idea sits right at the top of the list, as it's the most likely to happen - how very exciting!

As of right now, this spin-off is in development. The CW even ordered a pilot in February of this year. So, as long as things work out, Supernatural fans should get the chance to see how this loving couple came to be and what they've gone through.

The choice of characters is spot-on here. There's so much potential in bringing their story to life, as the Winchesters already have such a beautiful narrative arc. Their relationship went through so much struggle and turmoil, and although the show explored plenty of it, there's still so much depth to be found.

Seeing some of Mary's hunting past would be awesome, and watching how their relationship was shaped would massively accentuate their journey in the original series. It would be tender, heartfelt and highly romantic whilst likely still chucking in some kick-ass action.

The proposed series even has the iconic Jensen Ackles signed on to narrate the show as Dean Winchester. Now, that's something fans want to see.
