It can certainly be argued that the Rajesh Koothrapali character has been nothing more than a punch line. And while I get it that we all need a fall guy or fodder for sitcom humor, Raj just hasnt seemed to get a fair shake. And that is certainly due, in large part, to the mutism he suffers around girls. But enough of this; weve ridden this train long enough! Raj is long overdue for character development, and this season we should see him break out, or so I hope. Hes in need of someone who really gets him, hes pined for companionship long enough (Suri, really?)! This season time should be invested in escalating him to a larger role; enough of the shenanigans and borderline racist scenarios and punch lines.
