The Episode: Hearts Still Beating

How It Happened: After pushing Eugene into making her a bullet to take down Negan with, Rosita had a talk with Father Gabriel before moving forward with her plan that served to quell her desires. Unfortunately, after witnessing Negan gut Spencer, Rosita's emotions took over and she took the shot, only for it to hit Lucille instead. In turn, Negan let one of his lackeys pick who would pay the price, resulting in Olivia's sudden death from, of course, a bullet.

Why It's On This List: If any lesson was learned from the events of the premiere, it's that the consequences of the actions of one against Negan will be felt by someone else. Like Daryl lashing out against Negan, Rosita let her feelings get the best of her and cost one of the most innocent Alexandrians her life. Undoubtedly, Olivia's death will weigh heavily on Rosita going forward, but the sudden, shocking moment will also stick with fans going forward as yet another reason to be excited to see Negan and the Saviors get their comeuppance.
