How It Happened: Previously assumed dead, Sam reunited with Rick - bound and gagged - as part of the infamous lineup at Terminus. Sam was the first up, receiving a blow to the back of his head with a baseball bat before having his throat slashed open with a knife, his blood spilling out into the trough in front of him.

Why It Was Great: Absolutely brutal, Sam's death was a horrifying reveal of what the people of Terminus really were, a memorable moment that set the stage of an incredible premiere that had fans rooting for Rick and company to dole out some justice.
