The Episode: Welcome to the Tombs

How It Happened: When The Governor demanded that Milton kill Andrea as atonement for his betrayal, Milton instead attacked his former friend. The act failed, and The Governor stabbed Milton, leaving him to bleed out in front of Andrea, who was then locked in the room to watch as Milton died and turned.

Why It Was Great: Milton's understated arc of the course over the show's third season was good, the initially weird, potentially creepy guy revealed in time to be a decent man caught in terrible circumstances, and his death at the hand of his own friend was a tragic end.
