5. Rabbits In Headlights

Finally…

After being manipulated from pillar to post and back again, our group of Alexandrians are trapped and with nowhere left to run. This has been promised as the last day on earth for Rick and his crew, and they were shockingly caught literally and figuratively like a bunch of rabbits in the headlights of an ominous car.

Symbolically, this conjured up a further sense of doom and gloom for the show’s key core of characters, particularly as it was all accompanied by a whole load of eerie whistling, and things were only about to get even more sinister as Last Day on Earth headed towards a tense conclusion.
