12. Is Daryl Alive?

Stop everything. Before the show goes any further, fans must know what really happened to their hero, Daryl. Dwight shot him at point-blank range, followed by a conveniently placed blood splatter on the screen to cover his fate.

Freeze-frame footage shows the gun aiming wide of Daryl's head, so while it was safe to assume they wouldn't kill him that instantly, there's some hard evidence to suggest he's still alive.

But even if he took a bullet to the shoulder, for example, medical attention will be sorely needed. Daryl isn't safe yet, but his fate must be confirmed during the opening scenes.
