9. Eric

Aaron's partner Eric has had a lot less to do on the show, but Season 7 did at least take the time to give us a moment between the couple, showing Eric's reluctance at blindly following Rick.

While he ends up joining the resistance himself, the seeds have been sown for him to be a reluctant casualty of this war. Eric's unlikely to become a bigger character than he is at this stage, and they'll likely use his death as a launchpad to push Aaron in new directions.
