Violet Harper's discovery that her pre-Mother Box self, Gabrielle, was bribed into giving a murderous metahuman access to the residence of the Markovian royals (and ultimately allowing him to kill the parents of Prince Brion and Princess Tara) came as a shock to say the least - especially when you consider that she's actually in a loving relationship with Brion.

Violet's quest to figure out who she was in her previous life has already led to some interesting discoveries, but this one in particular has become an interesting source of conflict - mainly because she's terrified of how this information would crush Brion if he ever found out. Thus, she concluded to keep it a secret.

However, that might be the least of Brion's worries when he discovers that his sister Tara is actually an inside informant for Deathstroke, tasked to take down the Justice League from within (which she continued to do in this week's installments by recording important conversations).

Brion is, without a doubt, one of this season's strongest characters, and the writers have done a great job of hiding all of this family conflict in plain sight. It's all felt very natural, which is why it will be all the more fulfilling when the naturally hot-headed Geo-Force discovers that everyone he loves has been lying to him.

Now, for the negative.
