Violet just can't catch a break, can she?
Having already had her neck snapped and finding herself brutally gutted by Lobo in previous weeks, Halo was stabbed in the heart by one of Captain Boomerang's boomerangs in this week's second offering, 'Leverage'.
Look, we get that Gabrielle's merging with the Mother Box gifted Violet/Halo with regeneration purposes (essentially making her unkillable), but how many times do we have to watch her die? While this season's introduction of graphic violence should reinforce the gravity of the situation, these constant deaths dilute any stakes that should come with them.
Is it built into the creative team's contract to come up with new cutting-edge ways to kill her in each batch of episodes? It's quickly becoming a weekly thing and, quite frankly, it's getting less enjoyable each time.
We get it guys, she can't die!
