Around 2001, the then-WWF wanted to put over the passion, dedication and hard graft of their performers. This was displayed in the form of musical tribute videos, ones which have become stuff of legend. The 'Lonely Road Of Faith' and 'Beautiful Day' ones have already been explored in previous entries, but they paled in comparison to the one reserved for 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. Austin's road to the top was a long one, and it was one which included many obstacles. When everything clicked into place, the man became the biggest grossing star in the history of the industry, and the hard work must have been worth it. Alongside Creed's 'My Sacrifice', Austin discussed his love for professional wrestling. This particular video spoke to fans, because it told of the same fervent passion they had for the industry. Living vicariously through someone like Steve Austin, the clip broke down the barrier between 'Superstar' and common fan. This was a superb piece of editing work, and an excellent choice of music. Austin did make sacrifices to get to the top, and he did due to his love for wrestling, one shared by fans. That was the message.
