10 Arguments WWE Fans Will Probably Never Stop Debating

3. Does WWE Really Listen To Its Fans?

For some fans, the answer to this question is an obvious and resounding "Oh hell no!" Others see a little more grey area that involves a delicate balancing act between "listening to fans" and "being held hostage by fans."

In essence, at what point does caving to the fans' immediate desires make it impossible to structure long-term storylines that have a bigger payoff than what the viewers currently have a hankering for? Certainly, WWE writers can't give the fans everything they want, because sometimes we don't know exactly what we want until they give it to us.

And it's not as if they never listen. Sure, sometimes it takes a lot of convincing, but they did finally put the strap around Daniel Bryan. And Zack Ryder became United States Champion. Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, and Jeff Hardy all got their shots, too. Eventually.

But then there's the issues with Roman Reigns. And John Cena. And the time they made all of WCW into jobbers. And the result of the 2015 Royal Rumble which sent the hashtag #CancelWWENetwork trending on Twitter. Sometimes Vince and his crew try to shove certain things down our throats, no matter how much we fight it.

Then again, it sometimes feels like fans have begun crying every time they don't get exactly what they want, without having any regard for the bigger picture.
