Let it be known that Cesaro & Tyson Kidd have converted many a dubious wrestling fan. When the duo first started teaming, people bemoaned the random element of their pairing, seeing clearly that the writing squad had little else for them, so decided to shove them together as a unit. The same can also be said for their opponents at Payback, The New Day. After an auspicious start, The New Day have shown themselves to be pretty entertaining, and Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods all seem well-suited to the role. It comes across that the trio are having a blast with what they're doing, which only resonates through their promos and general activity during matches. At Payback, the action felt like a proper tag-team match from yesteryear, which is definitely a good thing for WWE going forward. Of course, 2 Out Of 3 Fall encounters usually do tie up at 1-1 before being settled, and that happened here, but it wasn't so much the outcome that mattered more than the actual content of the match, which rocked.
