To younger fans, the thought that WWE once partly-promoted one Survivor Series event around what was inside a giant egg should make those same youngsters delighted that things are the way they are nowadays. People can look back with misty-eyed nostalgia all they want, and there's a lot of great moments to recall, but The Gobbledy Gooker is not one of those. Credit to Hector Guerrero for going along with this one, he was likely just happy to have a gig for the biggest company in the land, but he should be thankful for that big dumb headpiece hiding his face, otherwise this is one booking he may never have been able to live down!Fans were disappointed when a guy dressed as a giant bird came awkwardly ambling out of the egg, but what were folks expecting? It was an egg! Even so, this is an auspicious moment in WWE history, and the kind of thing fans should avoid showing non-fans who wonder why they like wrestling so much.
