It's hard to believe in hindsight that for the first four months of New Day's life, they were a bland, boring set of caricatures that crowds found to be insulting and lame. Once the necessary heel turn kicked in, Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods all found their voices as insincere practitioners of 'positivity', and from there came the layers of absurdity that only they can pull off with aplomb. It literally got to the point where The New Day today runs circles around virtually everyone else on WWE programming, even if the act has lost a bit of steam recently. Even with a bit of overexposure, they're still fresher than 98 percent of their surroundings, and their push has backed up their transcendence.
