Let it never be said that Daniel Bryan half-asses anything. Even a comedy pairing with Kane, based on each man's pent-up anger issues, succeeded because both men committed to the roles. The group therapy sessions alone (with Kane's casual recollection of his various disturbing felonies) made you want to see what the two would do next. As an in-ring combination, they followed the Mega Powers formula: Bryan carries the body of the match like Savage, then Kane cleans house like the powerful Hulkster. The moments of dissension only worked because of the dynamic between the two, who could believably (as believable as possible anyway) put aside their differences long enough to hold off the opposition. For what sounded like a silly idea, it certainly was - and yet it all worked.
