Vance Archer is a surprisingly agile for a wrestler who stands at 68 and weights 270lbs. He has used many different wrestling moves for his match finisher, including a corner-to-corner missile dropkick. But it looks like he has finally found his role as a powerhouse wrestler, and now uses a simpler finisher in the Chokeslam to get his point across. Theres something brutal in Archers version of the Chokeslam. Maybe its the elevation he gets, or maybe its how he looks like hes stretching his own body as much as possible to add as much height as possible to his choke lift, or maybe its how his version has him lift his opponents in an arc instead of straight-up, giving him additional momentum in his execution. Whatever the case may be, Archer has been highly successful in NJPW, and the Chokeslam has been one reason for that happening. There are few wrestlers as tall as Archer in New Japan, which has allowed him to use that to lift his smaller opponents (of which there are many) very high off the ground, which is an awesome sight to behold in every corner of the pro wrestling world.
