10 Best TNA Wrestlers Who Didn't Win Gold

It may get more bad press than any other professional wrestling promotion these days, but Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) has a long history full of great moments alongside the more regrettable ones. The company came into being in June 2002, when it aired weekly pay-per-views, before transitioning to a more traditional form in 2004.
Every wrestling promotion needs championships, and TNA has had its fair share of belts in its 14 years. There are five titles active as of today (TNA World Heavyweight, King of the Mountain, X-Division, Knockouts and World Tag Team), and the company also used to have a Knockouts Tag Team Championship. The King of the Mountain has seen a number of changes throughout its history, starting off as the Legends Championship before becoming the Global Championship and Television Championship before evolving into its current form in 2015.
Some of professional wrestling's greatest names have held titles above their heads in the company. Kurt Angle, Sting, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and more have found themselves as champions at various points. Some less than stellar names have also held gold, among them Gunner, Anarquia and American Football player Adam Jones.
So what of those men and women who never held gold in the company? You may be surprised at some of the names that failed to win championships in TNA...
10. Shannon Moore
Despite only really being known for being a good friend of Matt and Jeff Hardy, Shannon Moore has always been a more than capable hand in whatever promotion he has been in. Moore had two stints with WWE, the first of which was mostly memorable for him being the first follower of Matt Hardy and his Mattitude, and the second remembered for a series of great tag matches with Jimmy Wang Yang against Miz and Morrison.
Moore's also had two stints with TNA, and didn't come particularly close to winning a title on either occasion. His first began in 2005, and he immediately found himself in a fairly high profile feud with AJ Styles of all people, even defeating AJ in a street fight. Moore's first tenure would come to an end fairly abruptly at the beginning of 2006 when WWE came calling once again.
The Prince of Punk thus returned to TNA in 2010, but was still unable to win championship gold. He had a shot at winning the then-vacant X-Division Championship at Lockdown 2010, but Kazarian managed to win on that night. Moore then formed a team with Jesse Neal called Ink Inc., but despite many opportunities the duo were unable to win gold.
Finally, Moore had a shot at Robbie E's Television Championship in 2012, but came out second best once again.
