8. Bret "The Hitman" Hart: The Best There Is, The Best There Was, And The Best There Ever Will Be
Another highly anticipated release, Bret Hart's career retrospective almost never happened. Prior to the production of this DVD, the WWE had actually filmed interviews for a "Self Destruction of Bret Hart" DVD, akin to the Ultimate Warrior DVD which preceded it. Fortunately for us all, that didn't happen, as Bret Hart and the WWE reached a deal before this happened. Hart and the WWE were at odds for years, which led many to think a feature like this would never be produced. After the Montreal Screwjob, in addition to the death of Bret's brother Owen, it looked like the two may never mend fences. Ultimately the two sides kissed and made up, and it was all covered throughout the DVD, released in 2005. While it doesn't cover Hart's Hall of Fame induction or return to Raw, which happened years later, the extensive report on Hart's career was more than enough reason to land among the best ever.
