10 Best WWE Money In The Bank Cash-Ins Ever
3. Dolph Ziggler - Post-WrestleMania 29 Raw
Speaking of partisan crowds, it's rather appropriate that we find ourselves at the Raw after WrestleMania, notoriously one of the most vocal crowds of the year. In 2013, the case was no different as a truly multinational post-Mania crowd packed out New Jersey’s IZOD centre and stole the show with their vocal performance, the highlight of which came when Ziggler decided to cash-in.
As Alberto Del Rio hobbled around the ring, seconds after beating Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter in a 2-on-1 handicap match, Ziggler chose to strike. The audience erupted. Marching to the ring with intensity and intent, Ziggler wasted little time going after Del Rio’s injured leg. The crowd were left on tenterhooks though, as Del Rio first kicked out of the Famouser and then locked Ziggler in the cross arm-breaker.
A nicely worked spot saw Ziggler regain control though, prising Del Rio’s injured leg off his torso, before hitting the Zig Zag for the win. This may just have been one of the biggest babyface reactions that a heel has ever got, particularly when winning a title. It was a truly epic Money in the Bank cash-in worthy of a spot in the top three.
