10 Best WWE Women's Wrestlers Of 2017

5. Bayley

It was an up and down year for Bayley, if we're completely honest. She won her maiden main roster title after one of 2017's great matches against Charlotte in February, but came out of that spring feud with Alexa Bliss a little worse for wear.

That was largely down to poor writing, though, and given what a stellar opening few months of the year she had it seems harsh to penalise her for the mistakes of the WWE creative team.

Let's not forget, The Huggable One has only been a member of the main roster for about 18 months, during which time she has already become one of its most popular performers - even with some less-than-ideal booking decisions.

There was at least as much good as there was bad, in other words, and for that Bayley is deserving of a place in the top five, albeit with the caveat that she didn't quite meet our lofty expectations.
