10 Best WWE Women's Wrestlers Of 2017
3. Charlotte
The middle part of Charlotte's 2017 wasn't spectacular, but anyone who begins the year playing the antagonist of the face of all faces Bayley, and ends it getting the fans to cheer them deserves a lot of praise.
The Queen's ascent to the SmackDown throne took a while (at least by the pace that Alexa Bliss set over on Raw), but it was well worth the wait. Her latter year matches alongside Natalya have been impressive - including, apparently, the untelevised one they fought at last month's Starrcade.
In the early part of the year, of course, it was a feud with the aforementioned Bayley that kept her occupied, culminating in an exceptional Monday Night Raw title match which made for one of the year's best and most memorable moments.
If WWE is indeed setting up Ric's daughter for a dream showdown with Ronda Rousey next year then you would have to concede, grudgingly, that they're doing a pretty good job of it so far. Charlotte is at the peak of her powers, and few of her peers can hold a candle to her.
