10. Asuka Could Fade Into Obscurity Again

One of these days, your writer won't feel the need to harp on about how WWE continues to mistreat Asuka. Today is not that day.

You would think putting the Raw Women's Championship on the 'Empress of Tomorrow' would be a good thing for her but it seems that the creative team have resigned themselves to the fact that making her the champion is enough to make up for the near-three years of misdirection they inflicted on her after her incredible undefeated streak came to an end. Spoiler alert: It's not.

The very same could be said for the Women's Tag Team Championship. Let's not forget that she was dragged into this program in a storyline that is inexplicably no longer in existence and now she is once again playing a supporting role.

After being a punching bag for Alexa Bliss' gimmicky Fiend-inspired transformation (for no good reason), Asuka needs a comeback but the lack of a Raw Women's Championship match on the card yet again just shows how much WWE actually cares about making one of their best talents shine. Sure, she may be on the card in the Women's Tag Title match but, again, it's supporting role.
