10 Biggest Breakout Stars Of WWE's Brand Extension

3. Alexa Bliss

Make no mistake about it: Alexa Bliss was an afterthought in NXT.

Shoved to the background as Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks dominated the airwaves, and left there when Asuka exploded onto the scene, she was routinely utilized as a television program for the top stars but absent from higher profile TakeOver specials.

That all changed with her arrival to SmackDown Live, where she almost instantly became a featured player on Tuesday nights. In short order, she evolved from "unknown" to "star."

By December 2016, some five months after she debuted on WWE television, she was SmackDown women's champion and the centerpiece of a division brimming with fresh faces and characters. The manner in which she commanded the attention of the WWE Universe through character work and her underrated mic skills led to her arrival on Raw during the Superstar Shake-up.

A Raw Women's Championship, two straight victories over Bayley and a prominent role on Monday nights has allowed Little Miss Bliss to become the biggest breakout female star of the current brand extension and a rare female performer whose ability to talk is her greatest asset.
