In early 2012, WWE fans were head-over-heels excited to see Y2J return to the company after an absence of more than a year. The stage was set for the first ever Undisputed Champion to return a triumphant baby-face, soak up the adulation of the audience and ride a wave of goodwill into WrestleMania XXVIII, an event everyone wanted to see him feature in the headline match.

Half of that came true. The first ever Undisputed Champion did challenge CM Punk for the title in Miami, but his goodwill had long since been eroded after he spent the weeks following his return trolling the audience by refusing to be the Ayatolla of Rock 'n' Rolla. Instead, he gave them long, silent promos, and this "hot tag" moment", one of the best heel moments of the modern era.
