This one is indicative of all the rest of the issues on this list but ultimately adds to the problem. 2014, more-so than any calender year in WWE history, was plagued with an inflection of live crowds whom spent a large chunk of their respective shows in placid murmurs and it's not their fault. It's WWE's fault for giving them little to invest in. How can WWE expect people to care about Adam Rose beating R-Truth in a 7-minute match when we haven't seen either on Raw for months prior and likely wont for months thereafter? How can WWE expect fans to cheer for any single Diva when they've barely returned from buying a bottle of coke before the match is over? How can WWE expect fans to care about Triple H cutting the same 15-minute promo he did three weeks prior? When people go to see Raw or Smackdown live in attendance, they want to see something special. Something just for them. Something worthy of the money they've worked for that has been spent on tickets. What they're getting is the same exact show they saw on TV the week before. Nothing special, nothing unique. So why should they care? And if the live crowd in attendance can't care, why on earth would the viewing fan at home?
