10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Sept 19)

10. Kevin Owens Gets Given The Night Off By Stephanie McMahon

After being attacked by Seth Rollins a few weeks ago, Kevin Owens was appalled that Mick Foley then booked Rollins to challenge for his WWE Universal Title come Clash Of Champions. Making matters worse, the General Manager also gave Roman Reigns the chance to make that match a Triple Threat if he could topple Owens last week.

Thanks to Rusev, Reigns didn't, but KO will likely feel he's had it rough over the past couple of weeks. That could lead to him seeking out Foley to begin Raw, and wondering why he's being victimised like this. That's entirely in-keeping with Owen's self-obsessed character.

Sympathising with the champion's plight, Stephanie McMahon could step in and effectively give KO the night off. All he has to do is sit behind the announce desk and provide guest commentary on the Seth Rollins vs. Rusev main event. Satisfied, Owens would depart the scene, leaving McMahon and Foley to be slightly at odds.

Utterly miffed by Stephanie undermining his authority, Mick then says he has an announcement of his own and plans to do it in front of the live crowd.
