3. Will Bryan Get Revenge On Sheamus, Barrett, Or Both?
Even the cynical fan has to be frustrated by the week Daniel Bryan had after winning the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania. Once upon a time, winning the IC title was a big deal, and it meant you were destined for great things. Nowadays, the secondary championship is almost an unlucky talisman, with the holder of the title unable to win matches and constantly being embarrassed in the ring. Bryan got off to a good start Monday, successfully defending the Intercontinental Championship against Dolph Ziggler, but then it all went to hell, as Sheamus returned and laid both men out. Then on Smackdown Thursday, Sheamus pummeled Bryan and busted him open, and then Bad News Barrett added insult to injury by delivering a Bullhammer elbow to ensure a count-out victory for the Celtic Warrior.Despite losing that match and getting assaulted Monday, Bryan doesnt look like a lot of previous IC champs he was beaten up after the match Monday, and Thursdays attack led to him bleeding. If anything, it gets Sheamus new heel persona over and makes Barrett look like an opportunistic weasel. So who will Bryan turn his focus onto Monday night? The guy who has been brutal to him twice or the former champ who delivered a sneak attack? Bryan has two feet, so maybe he will deliver some kicks to both.
