10. Re-Emphasis On Wrestlers Not Authority Figures

...please get rid of all the pesky authority figures clogging up WWE programming like the roles are some elaborate game of 'Pass The F'N Parcel'.

Currently, Raw alone has a Commissioner (Stephanie McMahon), General Manager on ice (Kurt Angle), GM 'Elect' (Baron Corbin) and now a chief of female operations (Alexa Bliss). That's four different authority characters swanning about making decisions, and it's at least three too many. What happened to simplicity?

Everything is super-convoluted. Whilst it's not quite as bad over on SmackDown (with Shane McMahon as Commish and Paige as GM), there is still the same sort of power struggle. It'd be smashing if WWE could roll all of this mindless promo-ing up into a ball and hurl it out the nearest window.

The wrestlers themselves should be the focal point in 2019, not the authority figures. That encourages lazy booking rather than coming up with reasons why the fighting men and women on WWE's roster are at war in the first place. Time to get rid of some old habits, even if they will die hard.
