To coincide with the theatrical release of 98s Bride Of Chucky, the mad doll himself appeared on an episode of Monday Nitro and interrupted an in-ring promo given by Rick Steiner. Chucky (voiced by the horror series regular voice actor and Hollywoods favourite nutjob, Brad Dourif) cut a promo on Steiner himself, shamelessly plugging the new movie in the process. Sadly, the promo did very well for the movie, but very badly for WCW, as it had nothing to do with any other wrestling angle for the promotion, and never went anywhere.Still, Dourif seemed to be having a blast, and the crowd actually seemed to get a kick out of Chuckys insults to Mean Gene and Steiner. But this wouldnt be the nuttiest thing to happen on WCW Monday Nitro
