8. Drop The Pals Act With Dean Ambrose

Despite the fact both men are likely friends away from the ring, there's something disingenuous about the on-screen friendship between Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Instead of the cool relationship they shared when members of The Shield, segments involving both men usually degenerate into coming across like a bad TV drama. It's not really working. For his part, Ambrose isn't gaining much from the association either. More often than not, 'The Lunatic Fringe' comes across less like his own man and more like someone who is only there to watch Roman's back. It's fine for them to be noted as friendly, but the main problem lies with the fact that many fans feel Ambrose is the cooler of the tandem. That's an issue, because it's not how WWE want people to perceive things. Reigns is clearly the man they're getting behind as the bigger star, but that's not reflected in fan response. Roman Reigns has a 'lone wolf' vibe about him, there's something much more appealing about that idea. Steve Austin - when babyface - didn't really want any friends to pull him down.
