Both Brock Lesnar and Batista have entered the world of Mixed Martial Arts, with wildly differing degrees of success. While Lesnar would capture the UFC Heavyweight Championship, Batista only had one official fight, an awkward win against journeyman Vince Lucero. Even in winning, it was clear that "The Animal" wasn't really cut out for the sport. In the pro wrestling world, it's a different story, both men have won numerous World Titles, and been relied on to carry WWE at different points during their respective careers. Incredibly, for whatever reasons, WWE has never elected to promote Lesnar vs. Batista on a main TV show or Pay-Per-View.The pair did meet in Ohio Valley Wrestling, shortly before they'd both become main roster regulars, but that hardly counts as a satisfying enough bout to gratify fans who would have liked to see "The Beast" come up against "The Animal" in WWE. In fairness, Batista wouldn't really come into his own as a top line star until after Lesnar had departed WWE for the first time in 2004, so that's a likely reason for this one never taking place.
