10 Dream WWE Matches (That Will Never Happen)
4. Vader Vs. Aleister Black
One of the most exciting Raw prospects in recent years, Aleister Black is a hulking great specimen, able to win a crowd over simply by sitting cross legged. His series of matches with Buddy Murphy have been show stealers, with the two big lads crashing into each other in a manner distinctly more physical than anything else on the main roster.
Few have done physical better than the late Vader. Notoriously stiff, the masked behemoth’s matches looked more hard hitting and painful than anyone else’s by virtue of the fact that he was actually hitting you, and hard. Before his 2018 death, he was notoriously sniffy about modern wrestling, but a performer like Black, with his pulverising style and grasp of psychology, would be up the big man’s street. Two massive competitors capable of top rope theatrics, a clash in their prime would have been thrilling, not to mention bruising.
Vader was underutilised in WWE, with the bookers unwilling to unleash the monster that was used to such great effect in his WCW days. Black’s gimmick is less tied to being a destroyer, but now that his feud with Murphy is over, let’s hope they find him someone similarly well suited to work with.
