2. AJ Styles Vs. Daniel Bryan (SmackDown, 2018)

If you're a wrestling fan who enjoys the wrestling part of wrestling, then you probably don't need to be told why AJ Styles versus Daniel Bryan is perhaps the most mouth-watering dream match currently possible between two WWE employees.

Apart from being a clash between two of the industry's most gifted in-ring performers of all-time (and that's putting it mildly), it's also one that many of us convinced ourselves we'd never see, owing to the two years Bryan spent wearing a series of plaid shirts instead of his trusty wrestling tights.

Cynicism aside, this really should be a feud that the company pursues over the next 12 months. The quality of match AJ and D-Bry could put on given the right amount of time (Tuesday's effort was, inevitably, disappointingly brief) could rival just about anything from the last decade.

Throw in Shinsuke Nakamura and make it a once-in-a-lifetime triple threat if you like. Why the hell not? It'd be like seeing the fan fiction of indie wrestling fans come to life - in WWE no less. What a time to be alive.
