10. She Wanted To Be A Doctor

In an alternate universe, Trish could have been treating people with broken bones, instead of being the cause of them.

When Stratus attended York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she did so to study biology and kinesiology, which is the field of science dedicated to how the human body moves.

Trish has said in interviews that she planned to go to medical school after finishing her degree to become a fully trained doctor. She said this was because she enjoyed helping people and had an exploratory nature as a youngster, which explains why she found the absolutely mental world of pro wrestling so fascinating.

Unfortunately for the young student, her teachers went on strike in 1997, derailing her plans to move along with her academic career. Having been a standout in soccer and hockey whilst at uni, Trish decided to pursue something more athletic as her career, which is how she landed on fitness modelling.

After appearing on numerous magazine covers in the late 90s, she was scouted by the WWE and signed to a deal in 1999. The rest, as they say, is history.
