10 Forgotten WWE Stables You Totally Don't Remember
CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and John Cena were in WWE factions you've surely forgotten!
D-Generation X, the nWo, The Corporate Ministry, Four Horsemen and more. Wrestling's most memorable factions is a long, long list, but how about those groups that hardly anyone remembers? There's a good reason why they're largely forgotten. These stables were either short-lived or flopped because they sucked.
Simple as that.
Some of the crummy collections featured here made lower-tier factions like The Social Outcasts and Paige's old Absolution idea look like the best in class. For example, did you know that WWE once booked a group who only came together to celebrate nudity? How about the multiple stables that formed to stop The Shield over the years?
WWE's creative team has spammed the repeat button hoping sequels would be as successful as originals too. Were they? No, not even close, but that's why they're included here. Top stars like Kurt Angle, John Cena, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and even Big E (before New Day was a thing) have all been in groups lost to the sands of time.

Wade Barrett recently ripped the p*ss out of his own faction on socials by taking a lighthearted jab at The Corre. Let's just say that old 'Bad News' much preferred his time in Nexus than as leader of the dodgy offshoot. Do you remember The Corre's temporary main rivals: A.P.P.L.E? Don't worry, nobody else does.
Santino Marella proudly announced on an episode of Raw in April 2011 that he'd brought together Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan and Evan Bourne as A.P.P.L.E. That stood for, "Allied People Powered (by) Loathing Everything (that you stand for)". Rolls of the tongue brilliantly, eh?
This was a weak counterpoint to The Corre. A.P.P.L.E Corre - get it? Apparently, that joke was deemed funny enough to make the flagship in 2011. There's no way those painted on smiles from Bryan, Bourne and Henry were legit. Mercifully, A.P.P.L.E only lasted one day. The group had a name though, at least.
